I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. While there, I studied and fell in love with photography the old fashioned way, on film. For a time, I logged as many hours in the darkroom as I did in the painting studio. Regardless of the medium, the focus of my work has always been people and the interactions between them.
I gave birth to this photography business soon after the birth of my second daughter. That was five years and another baby ago. Today, my husband and I are raising three amazing, exhausting, hilarious, and precocious girls. I wanted my work to be fulfilling creatively, but also allow me to use my talents to serve others while celebrating what matters most to me: relationships and family.
I have called Jacksonville home for nine years now, and have loved living in the historic Riverside Avondale district.
