Jennifer
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. While there, I also studied and fell in love with photography the old fashioned way, logging many hours in the darkroom as well as in the painting studio. Regardless of the tool, the focus of my work has always been people and the relationships between them.
I began my business after attending a workshop to help me hasten my transition into digital photography. I had no idea that I would consider starting a photography business, but it ignited a passion in me for translating my artistic perspective to families outside my own.
I have called Jacksonville my home for five years now, and have loved living in the historic Riverside Avondale district. I still make frequent trips back to my other hometown of Atlanta, because I have lots of family and wonderful friends there. I also love to travel to new places, but being a mom to two young girls keeps me grounded for now in a wonderful way.
