My name is Jennifer Mendoza Stanelle. I photograph families, from newborns to great, great grandparents.

My goal is to create a portrait with you that captures where your family is in this moment in time, whether that is diapers, little league, braces, or beyond. My photographs are about you.

I don't claim to be superwoman, by any means. It's a crazy juggling act in which I'm doing the best I can. Occasionally, I will blog about things that relate to those topics as well.

And to answer one of the questions I get asked most: You can call me Jen, Jenny, Jennifer, Mendoza or Stanelle. I get and respond to them all!

Catching up

I’m busy playing catch up from our recent trips to Atlanta. Did I mention that I generally travel with the whole family in tow?? We are exhausted but also grateful to have a second home where we find friends, family and work to engage us! There will be individual posts from these shoots and more, but here are just a few of my favorites in the meantime, from some of the events and portrait sessions I did in ATL.

Just for fun: I don’t usually take portraits of dogs solo, but this is my good friend’s baby. They don’t call her Midori for nothing.

    Oh my God! That pic turned out so good :) I love it! I may have to order a big sized pic to hang up in my condo :)

    I love the one of Cooper with Kathryn and Ella in the background – that’s cute!
