My name is Jennifer Mendoza Stanelle. I photograph families, from newborns to great, great grandparents.

My goal is to create a portrait with you that captures where your family is in this moment in time, whether that is diapers, little league, braces, or beyond. My photographs are about you.

In addition to photography, I am interested in being the best wife, mom, sister, friend, daughter and member of my community - locally and globally - I can be. I don't claim to be superwoman, by any means. It's a crazy juggling act in which I'm doing the best I can. Occasionally, I will blog about things that relate to those topics as well.

And to answer one of the questions I get asked most: You can call me Jen, Jenny, Jennifer, Mendoza or Stanelle. I get and respond to them all!

These girls are not only beautiful, but warm, passionate and fun. Just like their great mom, whom I’ve been friends with since we were younger than they are now. I love getting to see them grow as a family. Thanks, H-ladies, for spending the afternoon with me. I hope you had a great month of birthday celebrations!

Have you heard that country song, “You’re Gonna Miss This“?  It’s a corny country radio song, but the lyrics get me every time. It doesn’t hurt that I first heard it when I was stressed out and pregnant. These reminded me of that song…

    The girls and I had a great time watching the slideshow… they were very proud of the beautiful pictures.
    And yes, I do know that song… don’t feel bad, I remember welling up while listening to it on the radio last year while I ran April birthday errands for these baby girls. M met me at Sam’s parking lot and found me in a sad state. He thinks it’s weird that I’m a closeted country music fan.
